B i o g r a p h i e s

Welcome to my charity event, that is being held to raise funds to go to the British Heart Foundation.

In memory of John Palmer - a wonderful husband, great dad, and the best grandad.

On 6th March 2016 we tragically lost one of the best men in mine, my sister and my brothers' lives; our Grandad. He lived life to its fullest and rarely cared for long term consequences - that was until in his  40's, after enjoying a regular drink or 3 and smoking 40 - 60 cigarettes a day from his teens, he had a huge heart attack.

He was rushed to hospital and there had three more heart attacks, and was revived twice. He had never promised his wife anything, but when he finally came round, was so grateful to the wonderful doctors and nurses that had cared for him and so thankful to be alive that he promised my Nan he would never smoke again, and would take better care of his diet and health.

He never smoked again, and ate a healthy date with low salt for the next 40 years.

He taught the three of us so much that we take forward into our every day lives. He was our hero.

Please join me for an evening of food, drinks and live music on 8th September 2018 to help us raise money for the British Heart Foundation, who are the nations heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research. They help transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions. Their vision is a world where people don't die prematurely from heart disease.
